7. Data Retention

We currently retain account, uploaded, derived, support, billing, and operational data unless and until it is deleted, no longer needed, or must be retained for legal, security, accounting, backup, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.

In-product account deletion may deactivate or soft-delete your account and remove active access while some records remain in operational systems, backups, logs, support records, and billing records for a period of time.

If you want a hard delete of personal data associated with your account, email [email protected]. We will review and process verified requests subject to applicable legal, security, accounting, backup, and dispute-related constraints.

PlantCounts operates from Canada, but data may be stored or processed in other countries depending on the providers and infrastructure we use. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
